The pen bodies are turned on a lathe, sanded, and polished before being mounted on a purchased pen kit. Some of the most beautiful pens are made from dyed and stabilized Buckeye Burl, Box Elder, Maple, and Mountain Mahogany. Natural woods are also used for a more traditional look. Mechanical pencils are also available but there are a limited amount of kit options. The pens that we sell have proven mechanics. Replacement ink cartridges are available at most office supply stores.
